The Founder

Barbara Dean Franklin has overcome many struggles in her life. Sexually abused at an early age led to a journey of domestic violence, and crack addiction.   Barbara suffered for many years from low self-esteem, searched for love in all the wrong places and genuinely loved everyone she encountered, which still left her empty and unfulfilled.  In 1994 after binging all night Barb decided she was going to take her life, but GOD had something else in mind. God told her she has a ministry for abused women and children, and delivered her from that same addiction on her living room floor December 23, 1994.

Barbara retired March 31, 2012 after 36 years with MBT, Ameritech, SBC now  AT&T, where she dedicated her life to providing the best customer service to both external and internal customers. Working with people has proven to be her gift, her passion and she loves to serve.

Barbara is committed to helping those who seek help. She is dedicated to loving people where they are, helping them to realize love and share love with others.  Barbara is also looking for women who have overcome to help others come over. WE  (Women Empowered Cross N Paths) need you.

Barbara hopes to complete her book soon entitled "Life After the Crack of Dawn"
